The XMT 304's have a very good reputation however. They are an excellent stick/DC tig/ mig. Used the XMT 304 CC/CV's usually run around $1200-1700 and a feeder roughly $ 400-800 depending on the feeder. In "like new" condition, I might take the chance, especially if you can get the lot for less than maybe $1000.

It takes any voltage between 200 and 600 AC in and makes around a 900 volt DC buss. 470 volts on each large electrolytic capacitor.

XMT 304 CC/CV will run the 30A quite nicely using the WC-24 (weld controller) as an interface. Makes for a nice aluminum mig setup. You could also add the Optima pulser to the 304 and get nearly the same capability that you get with the MM350P. Also a nice setup. The 304 is truly a "multiprocess" unit.
